Our ambassador, the well-known film and theatre actress Mona Petri, invites you to a charity matinée at the Ticino Theater in Wädenswil on 15 May at 11 am.  Together with Niklaus Kost (bass-baritone) and Daniel Fueter (piano), she will present the song cycle «Die schöne Müllerin».  The proceeds of the performance will benefit the Hunger Project.

On the Performance «Die schöne Müllerin»

Wilhelm Müller published a cycle of 25 poems under the title «Die schöne Müllerin». Franz Schubert set them to music. He omitted with Müller’s prologue and epilogue as well as three poems. These are performed in the charity matinee at the Ticino Theatre, supplemented by a short introduction to the creation of the poems.
