Black Friday is calling. However, we at the Hunger Project recommend renouncing the consumption battle and instead celebrating Giving Tuesday on November 29, 2022: the day of giving and generosity. On this day, social engagement gets high visibility and attention. It’s all about giving and doing good.

Numerous companies, organizations, and individuals in many countries around the world are participating in Giving Tuesday. Anyone with an idea can become part of the global movement.

This year on Giving Tuesday, we at the Hunger Project are focusing on girls and women. After all, every 3 seconds a girl is forcibly married, thereby sealing her life in extreme poverty. And 60% of those suffering from hunger worldwide are women and girls. With our projects, we inform affected women and girls about their rights and how they can overcome hunger using their own resources.
