Your donation changes lives!

Every contribution counts! With your donation, you support people affected by hunger and extreme poverty in a sustainable way and help them overcome it in the long term.

Together, we enable women, men, and children in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America to improve their living conditions through their own efforts and to strengthen their communities.

How your donation helps

With CHF 25, you enable, for example, a woman affected by poverty to be cared for and examined by a midwife throughout her entire pregnancy.

With CHF 48, you enable, for example, a person in Benin to participate in practical training in nutrition and climate-smart agriculture – for sustainable harvests, healthy food, and an independent livelihood.

With CHF 100, for example, two women market gardeners in Benin can be equipped with gardening tools and seeds.

With CHF 350, for example, a woman’s training in shea butter production can be fully financed.

Why The Hunger Project?

Sustainable impact:
We focus on a community-based approach that promotes individual responsibility and self-determination.

Focus on women:

Women are key actors in the fight against hunger. Empowering them is the key to lasting change.

Partnership-based:

We work closely with local authorities and partner organizations to create sustainable solutions.

Transparency:

Your donation helps where it is most urgently needed. Quality and transparency are central to our work.

With your donation, you are supporting, for example, the Market Gardening Project in Benin. There, young women receive training as gardeners and the tools they need to provide for themselves and their families. Not only do they gain confidence and new perspectives, but they also strengthen their entire community in a sustainable way.

The Hunger Project is certified by the ZEWO Foundation. This seal of approval guarantees prudent and transparent management of donations. You can be sure that your support is used responsibly, effectively, and in line with our mission.

Your data is protected by SSL encryption, and all payments are PCI-DSS compliant. This ensures that your donation is processed securely and goes exactly where it is needed.

Give families new hope and enable them to shape their lives independently – for a future without hunger and poverty
